Hi, I’m Lauren Pittenger. I help life coaches use their websites to get their work out to the world. It is my mission to help life coaches help their clients change their minds and change their lives.
Whether it’s stopping overdrinking, stopping overeating, money mindset, feeling better, relationships, or anything else – I want to help you get your work out to the world and help your clients stop suffering.
I have over eight years of experience designing, building and managing WordPress websites. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and a certificate in website design.
I have volunteered and taught classes on WordPress with a local organization here in Philadelphia called Girl Develop It. I have freelanced since 2011 and I have worked for companies in-house as a webmaster and I have also worked in agency settings.
I currently work for an agency as a Content & QA Specialist and have built over 35 websites for businesses ranging from small waxing salons, coaches, non-profits, law firms, and more.
To get a bit technical on you, I have a wide range of experience with different methods of building WordPress websites – from using a child theme, to using a theme such as Astra with a page builder such as Beaver Builder or Elementor. I have used the Genesis framework and custom built my own themes from scratch.
I’ve spoken at local Meetup groups as well as WordPress conferences (called WordCamps). I have also helped organize WordCamp Lancaster and WordCamp Philadelphia.
In my free time, I listen to podcasts such as The Life Coach School podcast. It’s how I discovered the world of coaching! And it completely changed my life.
Who knew that life was supposed to feel bad 50% of the time? Not me.
And that one belief caused me so much pain and suffering.
I’ve been in Brooke Castillo’s coaching program, self-coaching scholars, since 2017. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.
In addition to doing coaching work, I love reading books by Byron Katie and Joe Dispenza. I also love meeting up with some of my friends who are meditators and I love attending meditation retreats. Those things are really important to me.
I think learning more about how our minds work and about mental health and spirituality and the universe is really important.
I’m really excited to start serving the world and start serving those whose mission is to raise global consciousness.
