How Do I Create Social Media Graphics for My Life Coaching Practice?

Are you wondering how to create social media graphics for your life coaching practice?

Do you ever see Instagram feeds with graphics that look like they all go really well together?

You go to their profile page and the grid looks cohesive and uses the same colors and fonts throughout.

It’s easier than you may think to create these types of graphics and to create a cohesive feed – and you don’t need to be a designer.

The Three Most Important Brand Characteristics

Brand characteristics are those elements that make up your branding.

The three most important are your colors, fonts, and images.

Why do I say these are the three most important?

Because when we deviate from these three brand characteristics in our graphics, we end up creating a fragmented and incoherent brand.

So, it’s important to choose your colors, fonts, and the types of images that your brand uses and stick to them.

This is why the feeds of some people on Instagram look like they go together. They use the same colors, fonts, and types of imagery for each graphic.

So, how do we create these types of graphics if we’re not a designer?

I Recommend Canva Pro for Social Media Graphics

Canva Pro is an amazing tool that I love to use to create my own graphics for my website and social media, and I recommend it to clients, too.

It costs $9.95/month (billed annually) and it is so worth it, in my opinion.

It allows you to upload your own fonts and logos and gives you access to over 60 million stock images.

They call it a Brand Kit. Mine is below, so you can imagine it with your own colors and logos.

Canva also offers tons of templates for you to use – everything from quotes to sales graphics templates and more.

And not only for social media. They offer templates for all sorts of things – posters, infographics, presentations, brochures, etc.

Once you become familiar with the templates, you’ll start recognizing them on other people’s feeds.

That’s okay.

It’s also super easy to customize any of the templates to your liking. They provide a great starting point for your own layouts and designs.
