Customize the Browser Tab Image

Have you ever noticed all the little images that display in browser tabs on all your favorite websites? Sometimes WordPress themes will load one of these images by default.

If you haven’t specified the image you want to display in the browser tab, you may notice the WordPress logo or you may not see an image at all.

Don’t worry. It’s super easy to customize this image and it’s a quick and easy win towards creating a more cohesive brand for your coaching practice.

How to Customize the Browser Tab Image

The first thing you’ll need to do is log into your website.

  1. Once you’re logged into the WordPress dashboard, you’ll want to go to Appearance > Customize.
  2. Next, click on Site Identity.
  3. Scroll down to Site Icon.
  4. Upload an image that’s at least 512 pixels tall by 512 pixels wide. Or select one from your media library. Make sure it’s square.
  5. Click Publish.
