What are WordPress core, theme and plugins updates?

Keeping WordPress core, plugins and themes updated is extremely important to the health and security of your website. Without regular backups, your site may be vulnerable to being hacked. With my maintenance plans, you can rest assured knowing someone is looking after your site while you focus on what you do best. 

What are cloud backups?

Cloud backups is a service that takes a copy of your website and stores is in another location apart from your website. Having regular backups in place is extremely important should something happen to your website. Having backups in place means we can restore your site to a previous working copy. 

What is security monitoring?

Security monitoring is a service that makes sure your website is clean and hasn't been infected with any malware. 

What if my website gets hacked?

Maintenance plans help prevent the likelihood of being hacked. However, they do not and cannot completely prevent your website from being hacked. In the chance that your website is hacked, I will work with your hosting provider and Sucuri to get your website cleaned up for an additional fee beyond the cost of the maintenance plan. Please contact me for more details.

What is uptime monitoring?

Uptime monitoring is a service that monitors whether your website is online or not, so we can work to get it back online as quickly as possible. With uptime monitoring, I will be notified if your website goes down and I will work with your website host to figure out why.

What is priority support?

Priority support means I will reply to your support requests within a 48 hour window.

What is a performance check?

A performance check provides insight into the health of your website and provides recommendations to improve your website. The recommendations may be implemented by you, or I would be happy to discuss timeline and cost required to implement. 

Broken links are scanned for daily, with a limit of 10k links per website. 

How often are the strategy sessions?

Once a month for 30 minutes. 

What is a strategy session?

A strategy session is a 30 minute session in which we discuss the overall health and wellbeing of your website and how it's performing for you and your business. It's your time to dream big, talk about how it might better serve you, and where I can help.

What is a monthly service report?

A monthly service report is a report that details all of the updates that have happened on your site for that month. 

If I'm on the standard plan, can I still buy support hours?
